5 plants worth knowing
Montenegro
Within a very small area, Montenegro combines the Mediterranean Adriatic coast with its olive groves and palms, karst plateaus, and the high mountains of Durmitor and Prokletije with beech, fir and pine forests. Lake Skadar is fringed by backwaters covered in water lilies, and in Biogradska Gora one of the last primeval forests of Europe has survived.
